ATLANTIC CITY NEEDS A REBOOT

June 2-3, 2026

We stayed at the Golden Nugget marina in Atlantic City and boy, does this town need serious renovation. Maybe there are some casinos that have completed makeovers, but Golden Nugget isn’t one of them. We were also in Atlantic City last fall and had the same sense of neglect. I am sure in it’s heyday of the 1930’s-1960’s it was an amazing place to visit. Due to gambling broadening into other states, the city has lost it’s ability to compete. We did have a nice walk on the boardwalk. Left early the next morning. I didn’t take any pictures in Atlantic City, so here are two pics of the goofballs in charge of this adventure.
