October 5-6, 2026
The morning of October 5 as we left the Grafton marina, the only good thing going for us was that we had a 2 knot current pushing us along the Mississippi river. Everything else was going to “hell in a hand basket”, so to speak. We were leading a group of 7 boats with a killer sun glare as we headed south. Little did we know that for the next three days we were going to do battle with the logs heading in the same direction.
