NEW YORK CITY BABY!!

Ok, we were actually in New Jersey, but had an amazing view of the Manhattan skyline. There is an iconic moment when entering the NY harbor and that is to get a picture of your boat in front of the Statue of Liberty. Well, on our last day in NY city, we were supposed to meet up with Scott/Amy and Jeff/Ann to get our picture taken and take their pics as well. We were heading that direction and I saw another boat that was just going by us as we closed in on the Statue of Liberty. I saw that they were flying the “looper” flag and radioed them to ask if they wanted us to take their picture. They immediately responded with a “heck yeah!” So, we circled them a couple of times and took a number of pics for them and they did for us as well. Their boat name was ‘Attitude Adjustment’ and they were very appreciative. Our friends were close behind and we all took various pictures of our boats and “Lady Liberty.”

During the three nights we were at Liberty Landing marina in New Jersey, we had a great night out at a very nice restaurant next to the marina our first evening. It is always nice to get off the boat your first day in harbor.
